The Color TV-Game Racing 112 is a console with a large steering wheel in the center and a gear shift with two positions on the left-hand side. Since there's no accelerator pedal, the speed of your car is adjusted by using the gear shift to switch between two different speeds. The console boasts 112 game modes, though it's more like "112 slight variations of the same game". The game is a basic top-down view of a race, with a spacious and narrow course to pick between. Variables can be adjusted to change the gameplay, such as enabling crashing upon driving into the sides of the track, enabling opponents to move from side-to-side, enabling more cars on the track to act as obstacles, or to enable a "bad road". It's possible to also play multiplayer, with a pair of detachable wired controllers hidden in the back of the console. A full list of 112 game modes can be found in the chart below:
