Nintendo Zone Box
The Nintendo Zone Box is a device used in game stores and retailers to automate the connection between a player's Nintendo DS or 3DS console and a local WiFi network, which enables the console to receive exclusive content from Nintendo's Nintendo Zone server. This exclusive content ranged from game demos for upcoming games, to special StreetPass guests for Nintendo 3DS users, and even specially distributed Pokemon on a couple occasions. This variant appears to be an older version which would later be replaced by the NZB-001 variant. They work similarly, though this variant actually contains an entire modified DS Lite (USG-001C) inside of its plastic. This device is powered by a DS Lite charger, which connects via a port at the bottom. This port is connected by a wire to a modified GBA cartridge, called the "power control cartridge", which is plugged into the DS Lite. This cartridge will turn on the DS Lite when it detects power from the DS Lite charger being connected. In early 2010, these devices appear to have been repurposed as distribution units for the "Nintendo DS Guide" software, which Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS users could download via Download Play, to experience audio-visual tours relating to the event or museum they're currently visiting.

AC Adapter Cable Case
The AC Adapter Cable Case is a small piece of plastic with holes on the top and bottom. The face of the case can be lifted up to reveal a plastic circle inside. An AC Adapter wire can be routed through one hole, wrapped around the plastic circle, and then fed through the other hole. In the context of a kiosk display, this helps to hide any loose wiring, making the kiosk both safer and tidier. This Cable Case came packaged with the NIS-004 variant of the Nintendo Zone Box.
