Mobile System Restoration Project
A restoration of the Mobile System GB
The Mobile Adapter GB allowed a Game Boy or Game Boy Advance to connect to an online network called the Mobile System GB, allowing it to communicate with other Game Boys by connecting to a mobile phone and using it to network with the Mobile System GB, providing an primitive form of online play. The Mobile System GB was only active for a short time, and was discontinued in December 2002.
The REON Team plans to restore this service, with as much of its previous functionality left in-tact as possible, as well as potentially creating a custom Mobile Adapter GB that would be compatible with modern smartphones.
