Card Hero


RPG series started in 2000


A series where characters battle using a trading card game called "Card Hero". Similar to popular real life TCGs, Card Hero involves summoning monsters, changing monsters to advantageous positions and managing resources that dictate how often a player can summon, attack or level-up their monsters in a turn.

Collect trading cards and use them to battle opponents. There are plenty of cards to collect and fun battles to be had. In battle, monster cards are placed in a front row and a rear row and made to fight, and whoever reduces their opponent's HP to 0 wins.

A card game in which you create your own unique deck using a collection of over 150 cards and battle with it, using a variety of "Monster Cards" that fight battles for you and "Magic Cards" that have various effects but cost stones to use.

considered and Nintendo of America registered the Card Hero trademark in 2009.

Genre: Card Game


A version of the Nintendo DS game that focuses more on competitive battling than a single-player narrative. This game only features quick battles against random CPUs with no story mode, but has more cards to play with and prominently displays the local multiplayer and online multiplayer modes on its main menu.
