Famicom Mukashi Banashi


Adventure series started in 1987


A series of visual novels based on Japanese folklore tales. Yuuyuuki is about Goku, a monkey that lands on Earth inside of a meteor and becomes an unlikely hero, despite prior crimes committed. The other tale, Shin Onigashima, is about Donbe and Hikari, a pair of orphans that set out to save their adoptive parents after an evil dragon turns the villagers of the island into soul-sucking oni.
