Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training


Puzzle series started in 2005 


A series where the brain is exercised by performing simple maths problems and reading aloud, among other things. The game calculates your "brain age" based on your performance in these tasks. By repeatedly performing these exercises on a regular basis, the brain is trained more thoroughly and your brain age gets younger.

An educational training game that allows you to challenge your brain with various practical problems. These problems train your brain and after a few problems solved, the game calculates your "brain age". This game includes 14 types of brain training, including "Voice Calculation", an early use of the Nintendo DS's microphone.

Make good use of your boxes so that Qbby can reach the goal. In this game, boxes can now be placed in two different places, so instead of needing to choose one solution, you can now mix and match them. For example, you can now simultaneously bridge a gap and shield yourself from hazards, and there are plenty of new stages that test this new versatility.

This game features 270 stages to play through, which includes a campaign where you can finally play as Qudy, a trusted friend of Qbby who towers over everyone with his tall, rectangular body. The game's branding heavily emphasises 2-player cooperative play and features a third campaign entirely based around it.
